I never much liked bands that had a lot of hype around them. I hated Nirvana until about 1997; loved "The Soft Bulletin" but can't get into "Yoshimi"; was the only person in my whole high school to listen to Queen, Alice Cooper, S.O.D., and so forth; and really had Coldplay.
All that will happen out of EW is some people may find "Bang a Gong" on a Super 70's Britannia comp in jukeboxes across Idaho then forget about it when the next issue featuring Jessica Simpson comes out. Besides, most are probably listening to the horrid Powerstation version.
So how's the escape from Naperville coming?
